Wood Vinegar

Wood Vinegar, also called Pyroligneous acid, is produced from the natural process of carbonization. In the process of making binchotan (white charcoal), exhaust gas from this charcoal production is condensed (cooled) into liquid – this condensate is then separated into vinegar, bio oil and tar. Then filtered several times to achieve maximum purity and stored for at least six months.
Wood vinegar has a low pH (around 3).

Wood vinegar is useful as an antibacterial and natural antioxidant. Wood vinegar can be used in the fields of cosmetics, food, health, agriculture and livestock.
